Lewes FC Men are delighted to confirm the signing of exciting young striker, Tyrese Briscoe on-loan from Hemel Hempstead.

Tyrese, 21, came through the academies of Arsenal and Millwall before linking up with Hemel Hempstead ahead of the 23/24 season.

The young forward has netted twice in 12 games in the National League South before being sent out on loan to Berkhamsted in January.

Unfortunately, heading out the other way, is Tommy Wood who joins Hayes and Yeading on loan for the remainder of the season.

Manager, Tony Russell, had this to say: “Firstly, it is sad to see Tommy go, but he needs to play regularly, and we can’t offer him that, so I fully understand the move on his behalf. He has been a pleasure to manage, and I only wish him well with this new club.

“Tyrese is someone we have tracked from the time he came out of Millwall. I have been picking Arthur Penny’s brain about him as they were at Millwall together, and he spoke so highly of him as a player and person.

“Ty has all the tools you look for in a centre-forward, and having spent most of his education in with Arsenal and then going on to sign a pro for Millwall, his pedigree speaks for itself.”

Also, ahead of the registration deadline, Luke Dreher, has been recalled by parent club, Wealdstone.
