Lewes FC are delighted to announce Tim Heal as the club’s new assistant coach.
Tim steps up from his role as Pathway Lead Coach during the 2023/24 season. Everyone at the club is thrilled to have Tim onboard ahead of the new season following an impressive number of campaigns with the Girls Pathway.
Since joining Lewes FC in the summer of 2021, Tim has demonstrated an impressive dedication to the game and an extremely high level of technical and tactical understanding.
Tim was part of the women’s first team staff during his first season with the club, alongside his work with the Pathway. He has been instrumental in the development of the women’s programme since and is a key component in the club’s plans moving forward.
“Tim’s progression over the past few seasons has been evident for everyone to see,” says Head of Women’s Football, Lynne Burrell. “It’s amazing to have him onboard and working closely with (head coach) Nat Lawrence. I think they will make a great team.
“Tim’s work ethic and attention to detail on the pitch will hold him in good stead moving into the position.”
Discussing his appointment, Tim says: “I am very excited to remain at the club for my fourth season and with the opportunity to move back into the senior team, having worked with the Pathway over the last few seasons.
“This is the beginning of an exciting project where we will look to rebuild. Having spoken to Nat I cannot wait to get started and I’m happy to stay a part of the Lewes FC family.”
We are thrilled to have Tim onboard for the 2024/25 campaign and have him as part of the team helping us to reset, solidify and grow.
