Men's football news

Assistant Manager Ross Standen and First Team Coach Tony Coade have decided to step down from the first team Men’s management team.

The pair joined the club back in October 2015 along with former Manager Darren Freeman, taking charge when Freeman left in October, winning their first game against Corinthian-Casuals and going on to pick up valuable wins at Cheshunt, Merstham, Bishop’s Stortford and Haringey Borough. Last month they stepped back to their original roles when new manager Hugo Langton arrived.

“It was with a heavy heart that I accepted their resignations earlier in the week. I have really valued and appreciated their dedication and contribution to the club in the past four and a half years but also respect their decisions for stepping down.” Club Chairman, Stuart Fuller said.

“We are not only losing two very experienced coaches but also great supporters of the club”

The club wishes them both all the best for the future.

Dale Hurley, our Men’s U18s manager, will step up to work with manager Hugo Langton until the end of the season and will be in the dugout for Saturday’s game against Kingstonian.
