Simon Parker has moved to strengthen his goal-keeping options with the season-long loan signing of Brighton’s Sophie Harris.
The 25-year old began her playing career at Lincoln City’s centre of excellence, later moving to join Arsenal’s academy. A brief loan spell at Nottingham Forest was followed by her signing for London Bees where she spent four seasons, until 2018. Harris got a move to the WSL with Brighton in July 2018 where she has been a valuable member of the squad, making six first team appearances so far this season, including a clean sheet against Arsenal in this season’s Continental Cup.
Parker commented: “I’m delighted that Sophie has joined us for the remainder of the season. We have been looking to add depth to our goalkeeping options and Sophie definitely does that. She has a fantastic attitude and has the right character that we look for at Lewes.“
Welcome Sophie!
