Lewes FC Women are delighted to confirm the signing of experienced midfielder, Lois Roche, following the expiry of her contract at Charlton Athletic.
Lois, 30, spent time in the youth teams of Arsenal, Chelsea and QPR before signing for Reading where she made 67 appearances between 2012 and 2016, netting 14 times.
She then had three spells in Europe with Aland United, CF Florentia, and Røa IL before signing for the Addicks in 2021.
Manager, Scott Booth, is excited to have Lois on board: “We’re delighted to bring in Lois. She will add vital competition in our midfield area as well as imparting the experience gained from her extensive career to our young squad.
“Her communication skills will also be vital in what will be a massively important second half of the season.”
Upon signing for the club, Lois said: “It’s a great feeling to finally be here! I’m looking forward to helping the team for the second-half of the season.
“It’s a new role for me, I’ve never been one of the older players in the squad, but I’m looking forward to it.
“It’s a young squad but it’s an exciting squad, really good players individually.”
