Rooks ring in the New Year with the visit of Bognor Regis Town

Men's football news

Saturday sees the first game of 2022 when we welcome Bognor Regis Town to the Dripping Pan for a crucial Isthmian Premier League game.  After the 3-1 win at Horsham on Monday, the Rooks will be looking to start the New Year in the best possible fashion against the Rocks.

We expect a good crowd for the game and encourage fans to book their tickets in advance, saving £1 on the day pricing and speeding up entry into the ground. Whilst the guidance on the hosting of football matches at our level has not changed we are putting in place a couple of additional measures in anticipation of a higher than average attendance.

To speed up entry into the Dripping Pan we would encourage fans to arrive slightly earlier so that they do not miss any of the action queuing to get in.  The Ham Lane End turnstile will be open for both pre-paid and on the gate entry which we would ask any fans parking in South Downs College or in Mountfield Road to use.  Season Ticket holders should enter via the main gates in the car park as usual.

Additional hand sanitiser stations will be available within the ground and whilst the wearing of masks is purely down to personal choice, we do encourage anyone using the Rook Inn to wear one.  The Rook Inn will be fully open pre, during and post-match but we ask fans once they have been served to leave the bar so that we limit the number of people in the Rook Inn at any one time.  There will be no tables or chairs available inside the bar.  The bar at the top of the Philcox Terrace, Hatch and the Fries Hut will be open as usual.

We look forward to welcoming a bumper crowd to the Pan on Saturday.

Come On You Rooks!
