To celebrate our successful floodlights fundraiser campaign, this evening we’ll be throwing the doors of the Rook Inn open again – in an all-new socially distanced format …giving you the opportunity to relax pitch-side at the Pan with a glass of something nice and cold, a bag of crisps, and a fantastic view of the sunset across the South Downs. (Trust us, it’s magical!)
Director Steve Keegan and his trusty sidekick Mitch have been mega busy at the ground this week preparing it all for you.
Kick-off this evening will be 5pm, through to 11pm last orders. And, as of tomorrow July 18th, opening times will be:
Thursdays: 5-11pm
Fridays: 5-11pm
Saturdays: noon-11pm
Here’s what you can expect to see:
A brand new, socially distanced bench seating arrangement behind the goal (everything will be outside)…
A super-slick, chip-and-pin-and-Mitch (pictured, right) refreshment ordering station (our external temporary serving hatch, taking cashless payments)…
The best evening view in Lewes (as pictured, last week our ‘Rooks Originals’ squad experimented with a 57-32-1 formation in their Saturday night training session – which was a fun watch)…
All are welcome. Join us, raise a glass to our new floodlights, and marvel at how our old ones are still standing!
