The Rooks will be without Casey Pettit for the final game of the season against Bowers & Pitsea on Saturday after he has been recalled by Luton Town to join their first teams squad for their game against Blackpool.
Casey has featured in fourteen games for the Rooks since arriving and scored late in the game against East Thurrock United.
The young midfielder has thoroughly enjoyed his time with the Rooks and departed with this message:
“What an experience! I would like to start by saying a massive thank you to the Chairman, managers/ coaches and the players of Lewes Football Club for getting me in and putting their trust in me.”
”I’d like to also say a big thank you to the fans who have been unbelievable throughout my stay. I have gained a lot from being out on loan and I’m gutted we couldn’t have achieved more this season. I’ve loved being a part of this football club and I wish them the best of luck next season! #COYR”
We wish Casey all the best for the rest of the season as Luton close in on a Premier League Play-off spot.
We would like to extend our thanks to Luton Town who have been superb in handling Casey’s loan move and supporting us, with a number of positive Social Media posts.
