Portsmouth striker Rachel Panting has signed for Lewes FC Women and goes straight into the squad for the Rooks trip to Aston Villa this Sunday in the FA Women’s Championship. She is Portsmouth’s top scorer this season with 14 goals from 22 appearances.
Manager Fran Alonso expressed his delight at signing Rachel: “She has been showing consistently for the last seasons that she can play at a high level, she is still top goal scorer for Portsmouth this season and also has the most assists. Rachel is a versatile player with great pace and good technical ability.”
