Following the deadline for player registrations, we can provide an update on recent movements in the men’s first team squad
Defender Jack Burchell and centre forward George Nunn have departed the club.
Burchell joined Lewes ahead of the 2025-26 Isthmian League season and played 33 times for the Rooks, wearing the number 20 shirt and forming part of the defensive line.
The 23-year-old scored two goals in away victories over Carshalton Athletic and Dulwich Hamlet, and wore the captain’s armband on four occasions.
Burchell has agreed terms to join fellow Isthmian League Premier Division side Burgess Hill Town.
Nunn joined Lewes from Ramsgate in February and made seven appearances wearing the number nine shirt.
The club would like to thank both players for their efforts during their time at The Dripping Pan and wish them well for the future.
New arrivals
The men’s management team and backroom staff have been working hard to reinforce the squad as the 2025-26 season nears its climax.
With six fixtures remaining, we are pleased to confirm the additions of four new players.
Centre back Nikolai Krokhin arrives to help strengthen the Rooks defence, having been a frequent starter for Hendon in the Isthmian League South Central Division.
His other previous clubs include Cheshunt, Guildford City, Hastings United, Sheppey United and Tooting & Mitcham and he joins us from Carshalton Athletic
Alfie Mansell is a talented young goalkeeper who joins primarily to serve as backup to Louis Rogers.
The Brighton & Hove Albion prospect made several Isthmian League Premier appearances with Burgess Hill earlier this season. He’s also practiced at The Dripping Pan before.
Joining Lewes on loan deals are centre back Charlie Paye and central midfielder Jackson King.
Paye, whose parent club is Bromley, previously represented Hastings United in the Isthmian League South East and is now making the move up to step three of non-league.
King arrives on loan from League One club Wycombe Wanderers, which he joined in July after being part of the Brighton academy.
The club would like to welcome Nikolai, Alfie, Charlie and Jackson to Lewes.
Keep checking the club website and social media channels for a further player announcement in the coming days.
