Lewes FC is pleased to confirm that Callum Erskine has signed with League Two side Gillingham on dual registration terms.
The 18-year-old midfielder is set to embark on the next step in his promising career after growing through the Lewes youth system and is the latest product of Dale Hurley’s and the club’s tremendous record of youth development.
Erskine moved to the club with Dale Hurley during the summer to join the under-18s but was quickly integrated into the 1st team in the first half of the 2025-26 season.
This included six appearances in the Isthmian League Premier Division and a goal in the Sussex Senior Challenge Cup tie against Roffey in October.
After a recent two-month trial period with Gillingham, Erskine has now agreed terms with the Kent-based club, which is managed by Gareth Ainsworth.
Lewes FC is delighted for Callum and would like to wish him the very best as he embarks on this exciting new chapter.
As part of the deal, Gillingham’s 1st team will visit The Dripping Pan in pre-season with a date to be confirmed.
