We are delighted to announce the signing of 30-year-old midfielder, Kirsty Barton.
Kirsty brings a wealth of experience to the club having made over 160-appearances for Brighton & Hove Albion. She most recently played for Crystal Palace where she was initially on-loan before joining permanently.
Kirsty was an influential part of Brighton’s rise to the WSL from the third tier and helped Crystal Palace to a fourth-place finish in the Championship last season.
Upon joining the club, Kirsty said: “It’s really daunting when you join a new team but I couldn’t ask for a better group of girls here, they’ve been so welcoming and the staff as well.
“I’ve got a lot of experience and I hope I can bring some form of leadership – especially with it being a young group of girls here, I hope I can help with their development.”
