We are partnering up with The Launchpad Collective (TLC) on Saturday 15th for our match against Haringey Borough. The Launchpad Collective’s goal is to enrich society by opening the door to refugee talent. They support refugees to rebuild their lives through employment.

“We imagine a world where our refugee neighbours feel celebrated, valued and at home. So much more than their label, every refugee is recognised as an individual with unique skills and talents.”

Steered by refugees, for refugees, they forge lasting relationships between employers and talented refugees. Businesses are supported to become refugee-friendly through their online refugee recruitment toolkit whilst refugees are empowered to unlock their potential through their work-ready programmes.

The football industry itself has benefitted positively from refugees and their contribution. Lewes FC is delighted to be promoting The Launchpad Collective’s message and to be working with them on creating a welcoming environment for those who need it most.

They are always looking for volunteers to help clients complete job applications and prepare for job interviews, if you would like to get involved and support their work, please email hello@wearetlc.org.uk.

Representatives from The Launchpad Collective will be in attendance at the match and will be giving out information on the incredible work they do. They welcome our fans and visitors to ask any questions they may have.
