Lewes FC Men can confirm that we have signed 29-year-old forward Walter Figueira.
Fans watching in person or back home would have seen Figueira starting for the Rooks on Wednesday evening in our Fenix Trophy clash vs. FC Oslo, and following an impressive performance, now signs for the club.
Walter is an experienced player at this level and joins us following 24 appearances for Haringey Borough this season.
Previously he has played for Bognor Regis Town, Carshalton Athletic, Dulwich Hamlet, Wingate & Finchley and has also had spells in Ireland and Portugal.
Walter fills a gap that has been left in attack, as we can also confirm Jack Leahy has left the club.
