Lewes FC Women are
delighted to confirm that they have applied to the Football Association to join
the new FA Women’s Championship league from the 2018-19 season.
Team Captain,
Kate McIntyre, commented: “We are very
proud of the application we have put in and feel it reflects just how far we’ve
come as a club, on and off the pitch. We are ready for the new challenge should
the FA decide we deserve a place in the Championship.”
