Lewes FC are delighted to announce the signing of exciting young winger Noel Fisher.

The 21-year-old joins the Rooks after a standout partial season with Horsham YM in the 2025-26 Southern Combination Premier, where he registered 18 goals and seven assists in 28 appearances.

Those performances turned heads across the Sussex football scene, garnering interest from several clubs over the summer.

Fisher has since committed to Lewes for his progression to the Isthmian League Premier Division, and Step 3 on the non-league pyramid.

“Noel is one of the most exciting young talents in Sussex and, in my opinion, has all the attributes to become a real star of the future,” said Lewes FC men’s first team manager Craig Nelson.

“When you watch him play, you see a player who’s fearless, technically outstanding and desperate to improve.
“We believe we’ve secured one of the brightest young prospects in the county and we’re excited to give him the environment to fulfil that potential.
“If Noel continues to work as hard as he has so far, I genuinely believe our supporters will be watching the early stages of a very special journey.
“We’re absolutely delighted to have him at Lewes.”
Fisher, who grew up and played youth football in Hungary, was a goalscoring member of the Sussex U18s side that reached the 2023 ESFA Cup final, held at Stoke City.
He joined Lancing in 2023, alongside his twin brother Leon, which gave him a first taste of Step 4 action in the Isthmian League South East.
He then signed for Three Bridges in February 2025, featuring in the early part of their South East title-winning campaign last season before joining Horsham YM on dual registration terms.
Fisher was involved in Lewes’ opening pre-season win at Rusthall last Saturday.
In his first interview as a Rook, Fisher said: “Lewes has always been a big club, so I wanted to join a big club after my good season.
“I had a phone call with Pitts and knew a couple of people here [including] Dave [Altendorff] who was coming in [as men’s first team joint assistant manager], so it’s the right move for me.
“We’ve had very deep, proper conversations, which I really liked. I’m looking forward to it.”
