Lewes have brought in another Wales youth international player, Emily Jones.
Jones, an attacking winger, was previously at Super League Everton and plays for Wales’ U19 team.
Emily commented: “I’m delighted to have signed for Lewes and look forward to becoming a part of both the club and the community. The style of play that Fran promotes will be perfect to challenge me and will improve me as a player. I was honoured when Lewes showed interest in bringing me to the club and I hope I can play my part in bringing success to Lewes and push for promotion.”
First Team manager, Fran Alonso added: “I spotted Emily when I was involved in the Everton Ladies set-up and I’ve been keeping an eye on her ever since. My passion is to develop player’s footballing talent and help develop their whole character so that they become truly great players. Emily has tremendous potential and I believe we have the perfect club environment and coaching team to help her reach the top of the game.”
