Men's football news
With the season entering its most crucial phase, Darren Freeman’s squad are still challenging for the top spot in the Bostik League South. So far this season the contributions made by many fans to the 12th Man Fund have been crucial in building a squad that is looking for promotion to the Bostik Premier. With just a few weeks left until the Non-League transfer window closes, the club will look to bring in some new heads with the help of the fans.
This Saturday’s game against fellow promotion candidates Greenwich Borough will be a 12th Man Fund game with a number of additional fund-raising events taking place. There will be a limited edition 12th Man T-Shirt on sale at the club shop this Saturday at £20 (£18 for owners), with all profits going to the fund as well as numerous other activities on the day which will all go to boosting Darren’s budget at this vital time of the season. We will have collections just inside the turnstiles and if fans are able to, we ask them to pay £12 for the 12th Man, donating an additional £1 on top of the admission fee. Also, we are asking fans to search down the back of the sofa for any old £1 coins that we can take to the bank for the fund.
More details will be published throughout the week so be sure to keep an eye on our Twitter feed.
