Men's football news
Want to sample life in the dugout and be part of our league
title-chasing team?
Lewes FC is looking for a kit manager to look after our
men’s teams. You’ll be predominantly working with the first team, home and
away, ensuring everything is prepared for the players on match days, and that
the dressing rooms are left tidy afterwards. You’ll also be looking after the
kit for our DS and Under-18s teams, although you won’t be required to attend
their matches.
You won’t need to wash the kit yourself – we have a
professional laundry service that takes care of that – but you will be required
to organise the kit and ensure it gets back and forth from matches (we have a
minibus that travels to most away games if you don’t drive yourself).
You will need to be well organised, prepared to muck in and –
above all else – reliable.
It’s probably best to think of the role as ‘volunteer with
benefits’. There is a modest fee for the job, which amounts to a couple of
hundred pounds per month (during the season only). You’ll also be given Lewes
FC kit, as well as free admission to any of the games at the club, men or
women’s.
The real reward is being part of the first team set-up and
one of our valued team members.
Lewes FC is an equal opportunities employer.
Applicants should contact Club Secretary Barry Collins.
