Men's football news

We can confirm that goalkeeper, Lewis Carey, centre-back, Will Salmon, and winger, Rhys Murrell-Williamson are leaving the Rooks.

Lewis has played every minute over the last two seasons cementing himself as one of the best goalkeepers at this level.

He has also been a fantastic ambassador for the club, speaking candidly about our anti-gambling ads stance.

Will leaves after after forming a strong partnership with captain, Tom Champion, and played a vital role in our push for the play-offs.

What’s more, he was a big part of the re-launch on our Call Him Out campaign, speaking out against everyday sexism and misogyny.

Rhys leaves the club after two seasons saying “I’m gutted they never got to see me at my best.” But there’s no doubt he also played a part in last season including his sensational strike against Wingate & Finchley which was nominated for our goal of the season.

Thank you to all three players and we wish the best of luck for the future.
