We are lending our support to the urgent evacuation of female athletes in Afghanistan.

We need to apply pressure on FIFA and the Government to get ALL members of this very vulnerable group out very quickly.

In view of the recent news article in the BBC, I understand that you have now written to a number of governments to request the emergency evacuation of female players. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58284092

I would like to know what resources are being put behind this in the UK from FIFA, we hope you are backing up your request to Governments with financial support to enable this immediate urgent evacuation.

FIFA, the UK Government, and Fifpro must work together to organise emergency evacuations of vulnerable female athletes as soon as possible.

I urge you now to unite your global partners and to take immediate action to bring these vulnerable female athletes to safety.
