Lewes FC announces the departure of director Tom McJennett from the board ahead of April’s elections.
Tom, who joined the board in December 2023, has made a significant impact during a pivotal time for the club. His expertise and dedication have played a key role in strengthening the club’s financial position and fostering relationships with commercial partners. A consistent source of positivity both in the boardroom and on the terraces, Tom has helped guide the club through an important chapter in its journey.
“I’ve loved working with Lewes FC and I’m incredibly proud of the progress we’re making on and off the pitch,” said Tom. “However, with a young family, I can no longer commit the time I believe is necessary to serve on the board. I’m therefore stepping aside to make room for someone who can.”
While Tom is stepping down from his official role, he has offered to volunteer as an advisor in our commercial committee. We look forward to welcoming Tom and his family back to the Dripping Pan as familiar faces in the stands for many years to come.
