We are thrilled to announce the official opening of the Lewes FC Board Election Nomination Process, in advance of the upcoming elections in April 2025. As our club continues to grow, we believe this is an exciting opportunity to further enhance the diversity and strategic direction of our Board.
This is your chance to be a part of the leadership team that will shape the future of Lewes FC, both on and off the pitch.

If you’re passionate about Lewes FC and would like to contribute to the club’s governance, we encourage you to submit your nomination by the deadline. Along with your nomination, please send a brief statement outlining your background and reasons for wanting to join the Board of Directors.
How to Submit Your Nomination
To submit your nomination, please send your details to HR@lewesfc.com. You can begin submitting your nomination starting today, 10 March, until the 4 April deadline.
We encourage early submissions, as they allow us to support you through the election process. Early submissions will enable us to connect with you, clarify the role and responsibilities, and ensure you’re fully prepared as you take this exciting step toward joining the Board.
Following your submission, our Chief Operating Officer (COO) and current Board Members will reach out to discuss the vision for the Board, and the roles and responsibilities of Directors.

The Election Process
Our election process is designed to support new candidates by aligning their skills with the strategic goals of the Board. We aim to ensure visibility, engagement, and the best fit for each candidate’s unique expertise. If you’re unsure about the role or need guidance as you prepare your nomination, we’re here to help. Current Board members and the COO are available to discuss how your skills and experience can contribute to the club’s future vision.
The Role
Term: Elected candidates will serve a three-year term on the Board.
- Commitment: We’re looking for leaders dedicated to the long-term success of Lewes FC, with a passion for creating a collaborative and inclusive environment for all.
Election Timeline
- • 10 March – 4 April: Submit your interest to HR@lewesfc.com. Subject: Board Election – Nomination Interest.
- • 10 March – 6 April: Meet with current Board Members and the COO to understand the role.
- • 24 March – 11 April: Candidates encouraged to campaign actively, with support from the club to ensure a fair and equal process.
- • 7-11 April: Online Hustings: Candidates will take part in Q&A sessions, allowing the Lewes FC community to engage directly with potential Board members.
- • 14-18 April: Voting Period: The anticipated voting period will follow the hustings.
