The Dripping Pan:
named British football's
greatest ground.

Match day information: What to expect

Consistently voted the best away day trip for visiting fans, chosen by the Huffington Post as one of the Top 10 stadiums in Europe, and recently chosen as ‘’Britain’s Greatest Football Ground’ in a public vote for the book of the same name by Mike Bayly, The Dripping Pan is unique in so many ways. The idyllic location at the foot of the South Downs, the mix of new and old facilities, local food and drink and a warm welcome from our volunteers make The Dripping Pan the first away fixture fans look for.

Proper football food
for everyone.

Match day information: Food & Drink

Locally sourced food and drink is part of our community values, as too is providing options for all fans including plenty of plant-based options. We work with local breweries, including Harveys, to provide a changing list of craft beers, prosecco on tap and plenty of non-alcoholic choices. There are two food choices – Fries or Pies. Our Fries hut offers plenty of topping choices, whilst our selection of pies are all served with mash, mushy peas and gravy.

Match day information: Beach huts

The ultimate view in the house is from one of our four, themed beach huts that sit in the north-west corner of the group. Cool in the summer, toasty warm in the winter, the huts offer accommodation for you and five guests and are just a few steps away from our new Philcox Bar and the Fries Hut. Perfect for entertaining clients, celebrating with your family or even for a stag or hen party.

They can accommodate up to 6 adults and can be booked here! Just choose your match and then book yourself a Beach Hut! Just 4 available per game, so hurry.

After the game, join the Rooks players and the fans in the bar for a full debrief, win or lose.

Match day information: Be a mascot

With COVID-19 restrictions slowly being lifted, we will once again be able to welcome our mascots back to the Dripping Pan, leading our teams out onto the Dripping Pan pitch. Our mascots will get an opportunity to wear the famous red and black of the Rooks, meet the players before the game and then lead the team out onto the pitch and line up with the captains and the match officials.
