Safeguarding & Welfare

Written by: Charlie

Creating a safe environment for people to thrive in.

Lewes FC managers, coaches and/or assistant managers have attended Safeguarding Children Training, 1st Aid and have a Coaching Qualification before coaching children and/or vulnerable adults. We have risk assessments, Best Practice and policies in place that our managers, coaches and/or assistant managers follow.

Lewes FC are committed to promoting good mental health for all staff, volunteers and players. Our Safeguarding and Welfare officer is available to all staff, volunteers and players to speak to for support with managing or improving mental health and wellbeing, as well as any safeguarding or poor practice concerns.
