Jess King, who joined the club towards the end of last season, from Norwegian team Kolbotn, has re-signed for Lewes FC.
Prior to her time in Norway, the 27-year old was playing her football abroad, in Germany for FF UPS Jena and before that in Switzerland for FC Basel. Jess had her football education between the ages of eight and eighteen with Liverpool LFC and spent a season with Everton.
Joining late in the season, Jess only made seven appearances, but impressed with her strength, ball control and pace and of course with some great goals including this one away to Crystal Palace (video courtesy of Crystal Palace TV)…
First Team Manager Fran Alonso commented: “I am delighted to sign Jess. She is a great player and a fantastic person. She could have gone to other teams including full time teams but decided to stay at the Pan, her home! Last season she showed the quality she has and this season she will be even better. Can’t wait to start the season.”
