We are delighted to announce Tyrese Owen and Tom Bender as our latest recruits as we prepare for 2026/27
26 year old Owen, a commanding and technical midfielder who can also play in defence, arrives at the Dripping Pan after departing Billericay.
Known for his physical presence at 6ft 6 inches tall, composure on the ball, and ability to drive play forward, Tyrese began his career at Kingstonian and went on to play for Slough, Haverfordwest, Worthing and Aveley before joining The Blues in June 2025.
Joining Owen is Tom Bender, an experienced central defender with a wealth of experience across the National League South having made over 250 appearances for St Albans City as well as serving as vice-captain at Clarence Park.
Bender began his professional with Colchester United and subsequently played for Millwall, Dartford, Forest Green Rovers and Billericay before returning to St Albans in 2025/26. Tom also played for Wales internationally up to Under 21 level.
