Libby Copus-Brown joined Lewes FC in the summer of 2022 after a career in Australia, where she represented Newcastle Jets and Western Sydney Wanderers.

She had previously played against Rooks midfielder Isobel Dalton when the pair were competing in the A-League Women, and grappled the opportunity to team up with her compatriot at the Dripping Pan.

Upon joining the Rooks, she said: “What Lewes is about is very similar to what I’m about. I work hard for equality and am a member of Common Goal. Once the conversations started happening it just felt like it was meant to be. I’m really looking forward to getting started.”
