Frankie Angel joined Lewes in the summer of 2022 on a dual contract with Brighton. The goalkeeper said: “I’ve been at Brighton since I was 10. Living in Hassocks I’ve got to know Lewes over the years, I’ve always known there’s a friendly club here and a great one to be at.

“I love to play with the ball at my feet and play positive passes forward. It’s all about being positive on the pitch and helping out where I can.”
