Emily Kraft joined Lewes FC from FFC Frankfurt in the summer of 2022, having played in Germany since aged 12. Kraft made her first Germany youth appearance in 2016 but in 2020 switched to Republic of Ireland, who she qualifies for under her mother’s nationality.

Speaking on her arrival at the club, she said: “Playing at a club where men and women are paid and treated the same, it’s incredible. Women’s football is developing a lot and to be part of that, and play winning football, is the cherry on top.”
