Women’s First Team games to continue as we enter another national lockdown

Club news

After the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday night about the country entering into a national lockdown until at least mid February, all football at the non-elite level will continue to be suspended. This means that our Men’s First and Under18s squads will not be able to train or play games until restrictions are lifted. All clubs at Steps 3 and 4 will be surveyed by the FA in the coming weeks as to whether the 2020/21 season should be terminated, and if so on what basis. In any case, all league fixtures across Steps 3 and 4 have been postponed until the 6th March 2021.

At the elite level, football can continue but behind closed doors. This means our Women’s First team can continue to train and play competitive fixtures, the first of 2021 being a home game against Durham at The Pan on Sunday 10th January, kick off 12pm. The game will be available to stream live here.
