We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals who wish to play a role in an active and successful club playing football in the FA Women’s Championship, the second tier of English football and in thriving pathway leagues.
Job Title: 1st Team Goalkeeper coach; Pathway Goalkeeper coach
Employer: Lewes FC
Hours & Availability: Our 1st Team Goalkeeper Coach is a part time compensated position involving Tuesday evenings, Wednesday evenings, Friday evenings and match days (Sundays).
Our Pathway Goalkeeper Coach covers age groups from U14s to adult, has more flexibility and is a voluntary position, ideal for those hoping to gain experience to move up to a paid position in the future.
Location: The Dripping Pan, Lewes, Mountfield Road
Closing date: Open until filled.
Roles and responsibilities:
•Development of goalkeepers (1st team or from U14 Devt Squad), including monitoring and providing support on match days.
•Monitoring of goalkeepers’ performance during games and training.
•Liaise closely with Team Coaches regarding training, games and progress.
•Plan, deliver and evaluate coaching sessions
•Assist with relevant administrative tasks related to the role, attend and contribute to club meetings
•Contribute to the scouting and recruiting process where appropriate.
•Report safeguarding concerns
•Represent Lewes FC in a professional manner.
Qualifications
•UEFA B Goalkeeping for the 1st team role.
•FA 2 preferred for Pathway Goalkeeper Coach.
•FA Youth Award (desirable)
