Lewes FC are delighted to mark a third year of sponsorship with The English Soap Company – a partnership that exemplifies our shared values of equality, community, and excellence. Over the past three seasons, The English Soap Company have supported the team and sponsored five of our Women’s players this term: Maddie Brant, Adekite Fatuga-Dada, Becca Teale, Sydney Schreimaier and Izzy Glass-Oliver.
Lewes FC has a trailblazing commitment to equality. As the first and only football club to split its resources equally between its men’s and women’s teams, Lewes FC has set a global standard for inclusivity and fairness in sport. We’re delighted that The English Soap Company is joining us on our journey.
Sunday 27 October was a standout day for the partnership as The English Soap Company were matchday sponsors at the Dripping Pan for Lewes’ game with Cheltenham Town (the Rooks won 3-0!) during the Lewes Football Foundation Weekend.
Fans joined in the fun with activities such as the Soap Treasure Hunt around the Pan, while the ‘Beat the CEO’ challenge provided plenty of entertainment as kids from Lewes Football Foundation took on The English Soap Company CEO in a lively penalty shootout.
As a creative extension of our partnership, Lewes FC launched our very own bespoke soap, which can now be found in the club shop. This special product symbolises our shared dedication to equality, sustainability, and community spirit.
The English Soap Company remains inspired by Lewes FC’s groundbreaking Equal FA Cup campaign, which works to address inequalities in prize funding and resources between men’s and women’s football. We’re thrilled that The English Soap Company supports our vision.
