29 APRIL 2022, LONDON:
Today, Lewes Football Club announces a partnership with Curve, the financial super app which empowers customers to understand and master their finances by combining all debit, credit and loyalty cards into one.
The partnership has been born out of the brands’ shared goals of empowerment. Not only is Lewes the first football club in the world to pay its women’s and men’s teams equally, but it is also 100% fan-owned and not-for-profit, which has a meaningful and tangible impact on the local community.
For Curve, the club’s actions off the pitch are just as important as what we do on it. From prioritising trade opportunities for local businesses on match-days to facilitating football sessions for different parts of its community. The players themselves also take part in local voluntary work, all whilst campaigning against inequality in football.
To celebrate the new partnership, Curve and Lewes FC will collaborate on an exciting video content series featuring the players and staff working behind the scenes at the club. Following its initial announcement video, Curve intends to shoot content at the final women’s match of season, getting under the skin of a matchday experience at Lewes.
As an opening offer, when you sign up to Curve they will donate £5 to Lewes FC when you make your first transaction, by 19th August 2022.

Curve is using its unique technology to give customers more control over their financial life.
“Curve is thrilled to be partnering with such an innovative, game-changing football club. With our shared values of empowerment for people and the local community, it felt like a match made in heaven. We have the same goal of fairness as we work towards making finance fairer for everyone, so partnering with Lewes feels like a good way to bring fairness to an industry that’s historically been anything but.” – Henry Nicholls, Brand Strategy Lead, Curve
“We’re delighted to welcome Curve as our new partners. Curve put their customers at the heart of their decision-making in the way we like to put people at the heart of ours. It’s refreshing to see such an innovative brand really understand us and want to collaborate. I’m looking forward to an exciting and rewarding partnership.” – Maggie Murphy, CEO, Lewes FC
