To mark international women’s day on March 8 we will be celebrating the amazing women within our club and community on our game on Sunday as our women’s first team take on Sheffield United at the Pan.
In the Rook Inn, we will be showcasing the women on and off the pitch and around the club and asking fans to nominate and shout out the amazing women in their own lives.
We are also thrilled to welcome female musicians from the East Sussex college next door to the club who will be performing in the Rook Inn before the game, at half time and after the game.
We will also be celebrating our Women’s Vets team who celebrate their 10 year anniversary this year. They will be giving the teams a guard of honour as the teams walk out.
Ahead of the game, we caught up with Jenny and Saskia from the Vets, to talk about how it all started!
