Jacquie accepted the job as Manager in the summer of 2002 and quickly set about turning the team into a side that was both competitive and progressive. She has won 5 trophies in 8 seasons and has built a highly successful Ladies side who continue to improve every season. Her vision is create a player centred environment where players perform and behave like ‘Winners’ in order to reach their optimal performance as a Team.

Dave joined the Management Team this season and brings with him a wealth of experience in both Ladies and Men’s football. He will focus on both the development of the Team as well as match day strategies. Dave is a great addition to the Team and will be highly valued.

Trish Gower

An excellent shot stopper with great anticipation and reflexes, regularly making match-winning saves. She continues to grow in confidence with every season. Like most GK’s she is a real character and lives life to the full.

A highly experienced GK who has played at the highest level in the Women’s game. She is highly vocal and her vision and understanding gives the Team that extra edge.
Stacey Baker

This is Stacey's first season at Lewes. She has played for Portsmouth in the Premier League and brings with her vast experience. A solid defender with pace who will play her part this season.
Naomi Cole

Naomi joins Lewes on loan from Women's Super League side Chelsea. After playing at Arsenal and Millwall, Naomi joined Chelsea in May 2011 and soon impressed with her defensive abilities. Her main attribute is her uncanny ability to read the game, Naomi also a strong and confident header of the ball. While at Arsenal, Naomi won the Southern Reserve League and the National Reserve Cup, both in 2009. Naomi has also represented her country, playing for England at Under 15, Under 17 and Under 19 level.

Played at the highest level with Fulham, played with and against some of best players in the game. Moved to Brighton & Hove Albion Ladies before joining Lewes Ladies FC in January 2011.

Steph had been an integral part of the squad, a young skilful player with a sweet left foot. Good intelligent player who works hard and lets her feet do the talking. Has been a big asset to the squad and is enjoying her football here at Lewes.

Katie (Freddie) Baker

Started out at Hull City Centre of Excellence. Left home at the age of 16 to play for Arsenal Ladies Football Academy and to study. After moving further south to extend her education Katie signed for Brighton & Hove Albion Ladies FC in 2005 before joining Lewes Ladies FC in December 2011.

Charlotte is a young player who is an integral part of the Team. Strong with the ball at her feet or in the air, she can also strike a ball from distance and is most effective as an attacking midfielder. She brings a big personality to the squad and is likened to a brand new puppy.

A tireless runner and playmaker, Kiera has established herself in the heart of the Lewes midfield. A strong tackler and good passer of the ball, her willingness to get forward also ensures that she chips in with her fair share of goals

A new signing for Lewes who has played in the Champions League for Portuguese side Sociedade União 1° de Dezembro and been capped for Portugal at U19 level. She is a highly skilful player with two great feet. Has played at a high level and will bring more quality as well as goals.

'Spice' quickly established herself as a prolific goal scorer since joining a few seasons ago. Can hold off several opponents and hit a fierce shot at the same time, and often gets vital goals out of nothing. Never complains, always works hard for the team and also lays on her fair share of assists.

Signed from Bristol Rovers in January 2005 and quickly established herself as a prolific striker. Quick and direct, many defenders just can’t cope with her speed and agility. Clare is the intelligent one so gets to do the entire PR for the Team.
