TOTAL FUND (28/02/2017)
£1,927 – spend so far has been approximately £1,365
Inspired by the success of the Club’s 12th Man Fund, Lewes FC is launching a similar scheme for its Ladies 1st Team: the LEWES FC LADIES 12th WOMAN FUND.
Fans and supporters of Lewes Ladies can help the 1st team rise in the FA Women’s Premier League table by contributing directly INTO the Ladies’ budget. Money donated to the 12th Woman Fund will be used at the sole discretion of the 1st LADIES manager, and is additional to existing Club expenditures and WILL BE ring-fenced FOR JUST them.
As with the men’s fund, the Ladies’ scheme will work on a ‘pay-what-you-want’ basis. It can be for as little or as much as you decide – and can be paid via a one-off payment or by a regular donation through a weekly, monthly or annual instruction.
Director of Ladies Football Jacquie Agnew said: ‘The Club’s 12th Man Fund has shown that fans want to HAVE A DIRECT IMPACT. Running a similar women’s scheme will add to our ability to compete in an increasingly-competitive women’s game.’
