Lewes manager Steve Ibbitson has continued to bolster his squad with the acquisition of Albion youngster Leon Redwood for a month.

The youth team winger, who has scored three times for the Seagulls U18 side this season, has joined the Rooks on work experience terms but will be in the squad tomorrow’s trip to Eastleigh.

Ibbitson told The Argus: “We are short of wide players so he is a welcome addition.

“Jason (Hopkinson), my assistant, knows him well from his work with Albion and thinks quite a lot of him.”

The Rooks' injury crisis is beginning to ease with Lewis Ide and Chris Breach due back from injury tomorrow whilst Arron Hopkinson is available after completing a suspension.

Ibbitson hopes to welcome back defenders Anthony Barness, Lewis Hamilton (both hamstring) and Sonny Cobbs (groin) in time for next week’s birthday celebration home match with Chelmsford, which marks the formation of the club 125 years ago.
