Beer Festival returns on Friday
12/9/10
Lewes FC is holding a Beer Festival this Friday evening to coincide with the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations.
The format is similar to the last event in February which was very well supported by fans and ale drinkers alike.
A very special new beer from Harveys will be launched for the first time at the festival with more details being announced later in the week, but the Lewes brewery will be well supported alongside other Sussex ales from Dark Star, Beachy Head Brewery & Rectory Ales.
Guest ales include offerings from Chelmsford-based Crouch Vale, Castle Rock, Harviestoun and Skinners, with ciders also being represented too.
Tickets priced £5 are available in advance from the Gardeners Arms and Lewes Tourist Information Centre near the War Memorial, or entry is £6 on the door.
All ales are £2.50 per pint which can be served in the free souvenir pint glass which is included in the price of the ticket.
Gourmet food will be available and the event starts from 5pm.
Bring some friends along and raise your glasses to another 125 years for this great club.
