Lewes goalkeeper Rikki Banks has been awarded this season's Lewes Supporters' Player of the Season trophy.

Banks was the popular choice but was pushed all the way by defenders Chris Breach and Anthony Barness.

The big keeper is the only ever-present in the first team this season, notching up 53 appearances so far.

Banks has been in fine form since the start of the campaign despite the Rooks' struggle at the wrong end of the table, but his performances have been recognised as a key factor in the club having a chance to retain their Blue Square South place at Hampton and Richmond on Saturday.

Banks is pictured receiving the trophy before the Bath City match from club President John Edwards (right), matchball sponsor Brian ' The Badge' Ashdown (centre) and Lee Cobb from match sponsor Ditchling Gardeners.
