Lewes move out of bottom three
17/4/10
Lewes moved above Worcester into the Blue Square South safety zone after an emphatic 5-0 defeat of Dorchester this afternoon.
First half goals from Joe Keehan, his 17th and 18th of the season saw the Rooks in control at the interval.
Lewes increased their lead after two goals in a three minute spell midway through the second half. Fine work from David Wheeler led to a goalmouth scramble which Rob Gradwell ended with his second goal in a week, before Chris Breach climbed highest at a corner to head his side into a four goal lead.
Substitute Jean-Michel Sigere was on the field for 15 minutes until he dinked the ball past Magpies keeper Regan Coward for the fifth of an incredible afternoon which also saw Lewes improve their goal difference going into the final two games of the season. Report
Lewes take on play-off chasing Bath City in Tuesday night's reduced price admisson game before the final match of the season next Saturday at Hampton & Richmond.
