Lewes boss Steve Ibbitson has bolstered his squad ahead of tomorrow's game against in-form Welling United at the Dripping Pan with two new loan signings from Conference side Hayes & Yeading.

Defender Sami El- Abd, younger brother of Brighton's Adam, has joined the Rooks for a month.

The twenty-two year old has made 16 appearances this season but is currently out of the side having joined from Team Bath where he played over 100 games in two seasons.

Ibbitson has also secured the services of striker Robert Gradwell for the rest of the season. The 6ft 3in striker progressed through the youth ranks at Birmingham City where he played a key role in their progress to the FA Youth Cup semi finals last season.

Gradwell has made nine appearances this season, four from the bench, but has a keen eye for goal and enjoys the role of link man in the attack. He is currently the leading scorer with Hayes & Yeading reserves, with nine goals.

Both players go straight into the squad tomorrow. Kick off against Welling is 3pm.
