Lewes Ladies made sure of a place in the hat for the third round of the Ladies FA Cup on Sunday with a resounding 5-1 victory over Haringey Borough at the Dripping Pan.

The visitors came into the game on the back of some good league form this season, but the Rooks showed the sort of form that seemed to be ever present for much of last season in some difficult conditions.

Goals from Emma Millington, Kiera Chapman, Claire Trafford, Kirstie Spice and Helen Whitton ensured an ultimately safe passage and is on a par with their progress in this competition last season.

The draw for round 3 takes place tomorrow and sees the entrance of the Premier League teams.
