Lewes U18 and Lewes Ladies both enjoyed a successful Sunday on the pitch.

The Under 18's had a massive 20-0 win against Crowborough as their defence of the County Cup got under way. Louis Pople scored seven, Jamie Crellin six, Arron Hopkinson chipped in with two and their were single goals from Joe Aquilina, Jake Mills, Harvey Storer, Stacey Freeman and an own goal. The second round is scheduled for Sunday 11th October.

A fine performance from the Ladies saw them secure a hard-earned win at Gillingham. Goals from Kerry Dawkins and Emma Millington was too much for the Gills, with manager Jacquie Agnew exclaiming she was "very happy" with the result.

The Ladies are next in action on Sunday away to Northampton, with the Under 18's playing Eastbourne Town at the Dripping Pan on Wednesday, kick off 7.45pm.
