Programme Award for Lewes

Lewes Football Club's matchday programme has been recognised by the Northern Programme Club's 2009 Programme of the Year Awards.
The Rooks' programme has won the "Best Cover Design" Award in the Blue Square Premier, beating off competition from other clubs in the division with Wrexham runners-up and Oxford United in third place.
Premier League side Sunderland claimed the overall "Best Programme" title in England, with Wrexham beating Cambridge United and Oxford United to the "Best Programme" award for the BS Premier.
Programme Editor James Boyes said "It's a great honour for a club like Lewes to be recognised in this way. It's even more of an achievement when you consider that we've beaten clubs with the history, and resources, of Wrexham and Oxford United into first place."
