Lewes Ladies ended the season with an emphatic 6-1 win over Cambridge City at the Pan this afternoon.
First half goals from Kirstie Spice, Charlotte Bennett, Keira Chapman and Kirstie Hodges ensured Lewes manager Jacquie Agnew had a relatively easy team talk at half time.
City started the second half a bit brighter but Spice added her second before she was fouled to win a penalty which Emma Millington despatched with ease.
Barring a huge win next week by Wellingborough Diamonds over Norwich City, Lewes' superior goal difference means that they are virtually assured a fourth place finish in the South East Combination League this season.
