Lewes Ladies have begun preparations for next week's County Cup Final by securing the services of a new professional coach.

Alan Kenworthy, who has an 'A' licence, is an experienced coach who has worked alongside Dean Wilkins at Brighton & Hove Albion, as well as holding positions with Charlton Athletic and latterly with Horsham.

Ladies team manager Jacquie Agnew, who worked hard to secure the new appointment, said "I am so pleased that Alan has agreed to come on board. He's one of the best coaches around and I am sure we will continue to improve even further with the benefit of Alan's knowledge and experience."

Lewes Ladies are away at Gillingham on Sunday in the league, but take on Brighton at Lancing in the County Cup Final, next Thursday 19th March at Lancing FC. Kick off is 7.30pm and Lewes supporters are encouraged to go along and support the Ladies.
