Lewes plans to end their run of nine successive league defeats at Rushden & Diamonds tomorrow have suffered a blow with the return to Barnet of loan pairing Elliott Charles and Kieran St Aimie.

With the club’s financial situation preventing manager Kevin Keehan extending their initial month’s loan, Josh Klein-Davies, himself on loan from Bristol Rovers, is likely to feature upfront.

Rushden, who parted company with former manager Garry Hill earlier this week, will be looking to improve their recent run of form and stand-in boss Justin Edinburgh will be eager to impress in his first match in charge.

Guy Butters is expected to resume his place alongside Danny Cullip having recovered from a calf injury which kept him out of last week’s game against Wrexham.

Shaun Wilkinson misses the second game of his three match suspension, whilst recent signing Chris Winterton has been brought into the squad for the first time.
