Lewes go down to Eastbourne at the Pan
01/1/09
Eastbourne Borough completed a Sussex double over the Rooks at the Dripping Pan this afternoon, in a result that leaves Lewes in further trouble at the foot of the Blue Square Premier.
The visitors went ahead after an hour through on-loan Plymouth striker Ashley Barnes and as they pushed for an equaliser, the Rooks conceded a second in added time when Matt Crabb capitalised on Chris Breach's slip to rifle home past keeper Rikki Banks.
Lewes remain second from bottom, two points above Northwich who have a game in hand, and nine points behind Forest Green Rovers.
