Rooks claim vital win over Grays

Lewes secured a vital win over relegation rivals Grays Athletic today at the Dripping Pan.
Scott Taylor's second strike in consecutive games, and a Michael Standing penalty secured a two goal first half lead which the Rooks never looked in danger of losing.
Joe Tabiri, Adam Hinshelwood and U18 winger David Wheeler all made their home debuts, with the latter claiming the Man of the Match award in an encouraging display for Lewes.
Despite the win, Lewes remain at the bottom but have made up ground and are now only a point behind Grays. Report
